Designer Masaba Gupta On Her Separation From Madhu Mantena: Rubbishes The Rumours Of Infidelity

A couple of days ago, Designer Masaba Gupta announced her separation from filmmaker-husband, Madhu Mantena. The 29-year-old designer posted a statement on her official Instagram account, and said that she and Mantena have taken a trial separation in their marriage.
She had posted, "With a lot of sadness, Madhu and I have today decided to go on a trial separation in our marriage. Both of us have taken this decision in consultation with professionals and our parents. The only thing we are ready to say for now is that what we both want of life individually and separately is putting unnecessary pressure on the marriage and love that we share."
"Hence, we would like to take some time off from our marriage to figure out for ourselves what we want out of this life. We are not strong enough to explain ourselves to even friends who deserve an answer from us. These friends, we realise are equally invested in our relationship and our individual well being. All we can say to each of them is to give us time and to give us love when we reach out to you. We now need a lot of it."
"While we know, given the world and lives that we live in will lead to speculation, rumours and dragging us down into the dirt in this time. We are communicating and encouraging each other to be brave and reminding oursleves that the only priority at this time is the well being and protection of our own selves and our families."
But later, rumours grew stronger that infidelity was the real reason behind their separation! However, now Masaba has rubbished all the rumours about the same with just one tweet.
She tweeted, "Going to address this because of the infidelity bit attached. Or maybe I will address more as it comes,given that I won't tolerate a single thing being said about Madhu's character. Not true." [sic]
Masaba and Madhu got married in 2015 in an intimate ceremony, which was attended by Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput.
