Hollywood Beauty Selena Gomez Says She'd Be Okay To Make Her Bollywood Debut As Singer And Actor
Selena Gomez was asked if she'd love to debut in Bollywood and the young lass stated that she'd love to make a debut as an actor and would also consider her hand in singing as she loves to do both.
It looks like the world's eyes are on Bollywood and everybody wants a piece of this wonderful cake. A lot of Hollywood biggies have starred in Bollywood movies such as Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards, Brandon Routh, Ben Kingsley and others and now the singing sensation Selena Gomez wants to be a part of the industry too. She was recently asked if she'd love to make her Bollywood debut as an actor, the young lass was taken aback with the question and said, "I've never been asked that! Why not, I think that would be beautiful."
Selena Gomez is both an actor and a singer and she stated that though she'd love to debut in Bollywood as a singer, she'd choose acting over it, as that's what her heart says. "I don't know. My heart has always been in acting. But music has been extremely dominating in my life and I am grateful for both... I love both, but I would like to be more in acting," she said to IANS.
I Love AR Rahman's Work, Says Selena Gomez
The Hollywood beauty also stated she'd love to be a part of AR Rahman's compositions. "I like AR Rahman's work. He is a global figure today. I would love to sing or be part of his compositions. I think it would be beautiful to sing for Bollywood."
The Bindi Controversy
In 2013, Selena Gomez was spotted wearing a bindi during her concert and drew ire from a lot of people. This is what she had to say about the whole controversy, "My hairstylist and my makeup artist are actually really big into the whole culture - they've been around, they've travelled, they've gotten me into various books. I've been travelling, too. It's been really fun to explore that because it's a very different view and it's such a beautiful culture."
