Bollywood
actress
Tanushree
Dutta
is
the
reason
behind
India's
#MeToo
movement.
She
gave
courage
to
a
lot
of
people
to
come
out
and
share
their
stories
on
sexual
harassment
by
the
powerful
men
of
the
country.
In
the
wake
of
the
#MeToo
movement,
Adhyayan
Suman
had
tweeted
a
few
days
ago
that
when
he
was
exploited
by
Kangana
and
shared
his
story
two
years
ago,
he
was
humiliated
because
he
was
not
as
successful
as
Kangana.
Now,
his
father
Shekhar
Suman
took
to
twitter
to
ask
whether
the
#MeToo
debates
are
over.
He
wrote,
''Is
the
#MeToo
movement
dead?The
din
the
allegations
the
cacophony
over?The
debates
over?The
headlines
gone?Some
shamed
some
sacked
others
got
away
scot
free.women's
revolution
over?char

chandini
phir
andheri
raat.khoda
pahad

chuha.
That's
how
our
society
is
Such
Movements
are
only
meant
for
gossips
n
nothing
else
.Unfortunately
we
are
ridiculously
failed
to
show
the
"Power
of
ppl
" who
bothers
now
kab
kiske
saath
kiya
hua
...
Everyone
is
busy
in
making
Name
and
Fame.''
(sic)
He
added,
''So
sad..sadly
it
was
not
a
movement
but
an
opportunity
for
some.sad
sad
v
sad.
But
in
the
same
breath
i
dont
blindly
support
it...i
said
it
shld
not
be
gender
specific.wen
adhyayan
spoke
about
it
he
was
shamed
n
ridiculed.where
as
wen
the
victim
was
a
woman
she
was
idolized.
The
predator
must
be
punished
whether
man
or
woman.
Wen
Adhyayan
spoke
up
2
yrs
ago
ppl
said
he
did
it
for
publicity
bcoz
he
had
a
failed
career,though
he
was
fairly
well
known.Wat
about
all
the
girls
coming
out
and
speaking
up
now?some
of
them
unknown
n
with
no
careers.Are
they
doing
it
for
publicity
too?
''

A
few
days
back,
Adhyayan
Suman
had
tweeted,
''#MeToo
is
a
movement
empowering
men
and
women
alike
to
come
out
in
the
open
and
speak
up.
My
tweets
were
a
way
of
reaching
out
to
all
the
people
who
wanted
to
be
heard
and
not
to
gain
any
publicity
in
this
hot
debacle.
I
spoke
up
2
years
ago
and
I
was
shunned
,
criticised
on
national
tv.
I
wasn't
believed
then
and
I
don't
want
to
waste
time
retelling
a
story
already
out
for
the
public
to
read
.
To
all
the
media
houses
calling
me
and
asking
me
to
speak
up
in
an
interview,
I
do
not
wish
to.
I
didn't
have
ur
support
then
and
I
definitely
don't
need
it.''
