As the #MeToo movement hit the Indian shores, several prominent names like Sajid Khan, Alok Nath, Vikas Bahl, Mukesh Chhabra, Subhash Ghai, Anirban Blah and others were accused of sexual harassment and shamed for their inappropriate behaviour. Many Bollywood celebrities have extended their support to this movement and one of them is Jacqueline Fernandez.

Recently while speaking to IANS, the 'Race 3' expressed that the movement shouldn't be limited to the film industry and that sexual predators are everywhere.

Jacqueline was interacting with media after walking the ramp for a brand along with Kanika Kapoor. The latter too spoke about #MeToo and was quoted as saying, "I am very shocked about it. I feel very sad for anybody whoever has gone through any sort of sexual assault or misbehaviour. "I am really happy that India is becoming a safer place with every passing minute and I really support this movement."

She further added, "I feel the whole confidence of women in our country is growing which is really nice so, kudos to all the girls and boys who are coming up and sharing their stories. This #MeToo movement is absolutely wonderful for our country and for the world. I hope that we all make this country and the world a better place to live."
