Listen Up Ranbir Kapoor & Alia Bhatt! Jaya Prada Wants You Two To Star In The Remake Of THIS Movie!

Recently, in a conversation with DNA, when Jaya Prada was asked which film of hers she wants to be remade, the veteran actress immediately answered Sargam and also revealed that she would want lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt to play the lead roles.

She said, "There are several films but I would want Sargam to be remade because it is a film for all-time. It was extremely successful, it ran in the theatres for one year! It proved to be my successful entry into Bollywood. It remains fresh. It was a beautiful film full of dance."

When asked why did she choose Ranbir & Alia, she said, "Rishiji's son (Ranbir Kapoor) will be the best to play his role. Woh koi bhi character apna sakta hai. Look at what he has done in Sanju. But it's the director's strength, too. And hats off to the screenplay. Honestly, we are all director's artistes. As for my role, Alia (Bhatt) will be ideal to play it. She is sensitive, cute and a natural. She is really good."

Currently, be it on the work front or personal, Alia & Ranbir are in the headlines for all the right reasons. Both of them delivered blockbusters (Raazi & Sanju) this year and took the box office by storm! The duo will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. The film also casts Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and South superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni.

Apart from Brahmastra, Alia will be seen in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy and Karan Johar's Takht opposite Ranveer Singh. Takht will also reunite Alia with Kareena and Vicky Kaushal after Udta Punjab and Raazi, respectively. Takht also casts Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar.

And, Ranbir will be seen in Shamshera and Luv Ranjan's next, which hasn't been titled yet. The film will also mark the second collaboration of Ranbir & Ajay Devgn after Raajneeti.
