Kiara Advani Talks About Replacing Tara Sutaria In Shahid Kapoor's Kabir Singh!

Kiara Advani is on a roll. The actress has recently made it official that she will be next seen in Good News, which also casts Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh and a few days ago, the news of her being cast opposite Shahid Kapoor in Kabir Singh was also made official. For the uninitiated, Kiara was not the first choice for the film but it was Tara Sutaria, who's making her Bollywood debut opposite Tiger Shroff in Student Of The Year 2.

When asked about replacing Tara in the film, Kiara in an interview to Zoom said, "I think the film chose me it was in my destiny. I had watched the original (Arjun Reddy) and absolutely loved it. It just so happened that the director saw my performance in Dhoni and met me. Sandeep (Vanga) sir was the one who saw Preeti in me."

Talking about her experience on working with Shahid, Kiara said, "Working with Shahid on the Urvashi single was a fun experience. We all know he is an amazing dancer and a great actor. The whole vibe on the sets of Urvashi was magical! He has a very contagious energy and I am really looking forward to shoot with him again. It's an intense film so it'll be different from the vibe of the song."

Kabir Singh is a Hindi remake of the Telugu film Arjun Reddy, and the film is all set to release on June 21, 2019. The original Telugu film starred Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey and was directed by Sandeep Vanga. The film witnessed an amazing run at the box office and left the audiences all impressed.
