Meira Omar: Anirban Das Blah Took Credit For Making Deepika Padukone A Star!
Meira Omar accused Anirban Das Blah of sexual harassment in the #MeToo movement and now revealed that he boasted to her that he was the one who made Deepika Padukone a star.
Anirban Das Blah, who is the founder of KWAN Entertainment and a well-known Bollywood manager for several top film stars, was accused of sexual harassment in the #MeToo movement by an aspiring model and actress named Meira Omar and he had to step aside from his position due to the allegations pinned up against him. News was all over the place that he even attempted suicide due to this. Meira Omar opened up by saying that Anirban is a heartless man and she doesn't believe that he attempted suicide. Meira also said that Anirban once boasted that he was the one who made Deepika Padukone a star and said that she blindly believed his words back then.

"He said that when he took on Deepika she was struggling a bit to make an impact in the industry. But when he took her on and worked on her that's when this change happened and she became a star thanks to him and due to the work that they had done together."

"He said that it was 'thanks to him', and then he picked up the phone to call her and he said that they worked very tightly and they were discussing her Vogue magazine cover. So I'm sitting there waiting and all I see is that I'm a little impressed about how this guy has helped Deepika and I looked up to Deepika and wanted to make me like her."
Anirban Asked Me To Meet Him Privately
"He said I am the man who sees something, a diamond in the rough, what no one else can, this is what I'm known for. He then asked me to meet privately so he could evaluate himself. I will meet at our workplace. We can't meet anywhere Bandra and Andheri West. Somewhere around that point, I felt that something's not right so I just ignored the feeling."
I Don't Believe He Tried To Commit Suicide!
"When I heard of the suicide attempt. It was sent to me by the journalist who was writing my story. And I just remember how angry I was. I don't think I've been angry in a really long time. I was angry because first and foremost what a coward! This man has put so many women through so much for so many years and then he is being pressured for one week. It hadn't been a week since the first allegations of those first four women came out and he's attempting suicide. But then again, I was angrier because I know the way that he works. There's no way he was actually going to attempt suicide, I feel. That's what I feel," she summed it up to Pinkvilla.
