Nana Patekar Will Soon Be In Jail For Harassing Tanushree Dutta, Says Lawyer Nitin Satpute

Tanushree Dutta's lawyer Nitin Satpute said that Nana Patekar, Ganesh Acharya, Rakesh Sarang and Samee Siddiqui will soon be in jail once the police gets supporting evidence.

It looks like Nana Patekar is soon going to be in big trouble as Tanushree Dutta's lawyer Nitin Satpute said that Nana Patekar, Ganesh Acharya, Rakesh Sarang and Samee Siddiqui will soon be in jail once the police gets supporting evidence that they all played a part in sexually harassing Tanushree Dutta on the sets of Horn OK Please in 2008. Tanushree Dutta had filed an FIR against the four men and the police have recorded her statement. Now the four accused have to record their statement and if the police finds supporting evidence of their wrongdoing, they will soon land up in jail, said the lawyer.

"After FIR, CINTAA has recorded their statement and we are waiting for the witnesses' statement post that Nana (Patekar) and others have to come and record theirs. Once police has supporting evidence, Nana, Rakesh, Samee and Ganesh will be jailed," said Tanushree Dutta's lawyer Nitin Satpute to Republic World.

Tanushree Dutta wrote an open letter in a blog and said that the #MeToo movement is making the powerful uneasy and agitated. "This is making people uncomfortable, uneasy, agitated because the deep-seated misogynistic programming of our society has conditioned it to shove it deep in our subconscious. This dialogue is bringing it out."
