Nandita Das Reacts To Sexual Harassment Allegations Against Her Father: He's Categorically Denied It
Nandita Das reacts to sexual harassment allegations against her father Jatin Das by saying that she still supports the #MeToo movement and stated that the truth will prevail.
Nandita Das is a strong activist for women's rights and safety and her own father Jatin Das was accused of sexual harassment by a woman named Nisha Bora as she took to her Twitter handle by saying that he tried to molest her 14 years ago when they were discussing about a project. When she resisted his unruly advances, Jatin Das said, "Come on, it would be nice." However, the 76-year-old has denied all of her claims by saying her statements are "horrifying, vulgar and cheap."

Here's What Nandita Das Has To Say About Her Father Being Accused Of Sexual Harassment!
"As a strong supporter of the #MeToo movement, I want to reiterate that I will continue to add my voice to it, despite the disturbing allegations made against my father, which he has categorically denied," she said on her Facebook post.

We Should Not Dilute The #MeToo Movement, We Should Encourage People To Speak Up!
"I have maintained from the very start that this is the time we all need to listen, so that women (and men) feel safe to speak up. At the same time, it is also important to be sure about allegations so as not to dilute the movement."

The Truth Will Prevail, Says Nandita Das
"I am touched by the number of people - friends and strangers - who are concerned and are trusting my integrity. I do believe truth will prevail. And that is all I have to say on this matter," she summed it up.

The #MeToo Movement
It's good to see Nandita Das still supporting the #MeToo movement despite her own father being accused of sexual harassment. Also, regarding the accusations pinned up against him, all we got to say in her own words is that "truth will prevail" no matter what.
