Love blossomed between Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela in 2012 where the duo met for the first time. Such was their magnetic chemistry in real that the audience couldn't stop themselves from drooling over them when most of it translated on reel.

A crew member on the sets of Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela revealed to Huffington Post how love blossomed between Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone while shooting for the film.
Kissa Kiss Ka
Apparently, Ranveer and Deepika had to kiss each other at the end of 'Ang Laga De' song. The couple's lips were still locked even after Sanjay Leela Bhansali said 'Cut'.
'Ang Laga De Confirmed Their Romance'
A crew member who witnessed the scene told Huffington Post, "We knew they are kind of a thing but Ang Laga De confirmed it. That kiss was so intensely passionate, nobody uttered a word. I still can't forget that sight. It was new love-euphoric and maddening."
Ranveer & Deepika Were Open About Their Relationship On The Sets
"They'd call each other baby, eat together, and disappear into their vanity vans when not shooting. It was adorable. But we all thought this is yet another on-set romance that'll fade away once the film is over. It's a pretty standard thing in Bollywood," added the crew member.
'When I Saw Them During Bajirao Mastani, I Knew This Is Something That's Going To Last'
"When I saw them during Bajirao Mastani, that's when I knew, this is something that's going to last. It's their body language, the way they talk to and about each other, and a general vibe that's a telling sign," added another crew member from the sets of Bajirao Mastani.
'Bhansali Was Over The Moon'
Speaking about Sanjay Leela Bhansali's reaction to DeepVeer's romance, another crew member revealed, "He was over the moon although he wouldn't make it known. Their love story never really affected the work.
Once the camera would start rolling, they'd transform into professionals. Bhansali loves to gossip. He'd discuss their relationship at length with his assistants. He still teases the two of them about his role in their romance."
Deeply In Love
Another source, who hung out with the couple a few times over dinner during an outdoor schedule, said, "It's like nothing else matters. And they talk about everything non-stop, like, say, a married couple would," the person said.

Ranveer and Deepika will be getting hitched today at the Villa del Balbianello, Lake Como in Italy as per Konkani rituals. Post that, they will also be exchanging wedding wows as per Sindhi tradition.
