Sonu Sood Hits Back At Kangana Ranaut & Questions Her Competence!
Sonu Sood hit back at Kangana Ranaut's accusation that he was insecure and not willing to work under a woman director by saying that it's false. Sonu Sood questioned Kangana Ranaut's competence.

Sonu Sood walked out of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, as he was upset with Kangana Ranaut's rowdy behaviour on the sets and erupted by retaliating strongly against her bullying tactics. His walking away from the movie has turned into a war of words between the duo and though Sonu Sood has kept his head high by being polite, Kangana Ranaut has gone all guns blazing against him by saying he 'vehemently denied to work under a woman director'.
Not taking her statements lightly, Sonu Sood hit back at Kangana Ranaut by questioning her competence and said that he has worked with a woman director before and had no issues with it. He stated that Kangana's attitude and bullying was the cause for him to walk out of the movie. "The gender of the director is not the issue. Competence is. Let's not confuse the two. I've worked with Farah Khan [For Happy New Year] who's a competent woman director and Farah and I had a great professional equation and we are still best of friends. That's all I would like to say."

Producer of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi said that there's no bad blood between Kangana Ranaut and Sonu Sood. He said that the actor walked out of the movie out of his own will. But looking at the war of words between Kangana and Sonu, none seem to agree with his statements.

While Kangana Ranaut was all guns blazing, Sonu Sood's statements were simple and straightforward. Though he did indulge in mudslinging, it was to the minimal, and it looked like he just wants to get away from all of this and be at peace.

As soon as the news about Sonu Sood walking out of the project broke out, Kangana Ranaut went full throttle by saying that he doesn't like to work under a woman director and said that he's insecure and also lashed out at him for shooting a few scenes without the writers' permission.
