Sushant Singh Rajput Denies Misbehaving With Sanjana Sanghi; Shares Screenshots Of His Chat With Her
After sexual harassment claim against Sushant Singh Rajput created a social media stir, the actor took to his Twitter page to clarify the reports.

It all began a few months back when DNA carried a report stating that Sushant Singh Rajput was trying to be 'extra-friendly' with actress Sanjana Sanghi on the sets of the film, 'Kizie Aur Manny'. The leading daily had quoted a source as saying, "Sushant was trying to be 'extra-friendly' towards newbie Sanjana Sanghi. On one occasion, she seemed to have got uncomfortable and apparently brought it to the notice of her parents, who reportedly told her to return to the set only if she felt she should. One hears that as of now, shooting has come to a standstill."
Later, director Mukesh Chhabra and the studio bankrolling the project refuted these reports. However last evening, few reports started doing the rounds claiming that Sanjana had made sexual harassment allegations against her co-star but was silenced by the filmmaker. Further, these reports immediately spread like wildfire and Sushant started trending on Twitter.
Finally to put all these rumours to rest, the actor took to his Twitter handle to clarify these reports and here's what he had to say.
Sushant Calls It A Campaign To Malign His Image
Reacting to the sexual harassment accusation, Sushant took to his Twitter page and called it an agenda and a campaign by people to malign his image.
He Shared Screenshots Of His Chat With Her
The actor shared the screenshots of his chat with Sanjana Sanghi asking people to decide if he actually harassed her or not.
Mukesh Chhabra Stands By Sushant
The film's director Mukesh Chhabra too backed Sushant and tweeted, " I totally stand by @itsSSR - no such incident happened on the sets and let's not have a Twitter trial and make an innocent person suffer for somebody else's ulterior motives I had clarified this on twitter long back and I still maintain it."
The Curious Case Of The Missing Blue Tick
Reports started that Twitter took away Sushant Singh Rajput's blue tick aka verification badge as soon as multiple Twitter users began tweeting against him. Responding to these allegations, Sushant wrote, "And for all those deliberately using the missing of Twitter ‘blue tick' to substantiate their false claims, allow me to tell you that it is not there since 5th of September. Get your facts checked before jumping to conclusions that you so eagerly want to."
