This Is How Sonam Kapoor & Anand Ahuja Are Celebrating Their First Karwa Chauth After Marriage!
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja who tied the knot early this year are observing their first Karwa Chauth post marriage and have already began their celebrations.
It's that time of the year when all married women out there observe a day-long fast for the long life of their husbands. Yes, we are speaking about Karwa Chauth! Today, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja who tied the knot early this year are observing their first Karwa Chauth post marriage and have already began their celebrations.
Both, Sonam and Anand posted pictures of the two having applied mehendi on their palms. Anand shared a picture of Sonam getting mehendi done on her hands with a heart emoji while Sonam posted a picture of both their mehendis. They couple got heart designs on their palms with Sonam adding alphabets AS to hers. Now, isn't that cute?

For those who ain't aware, Karwa Chauth is a Hindu tradition in which married women observe fast without food and water from sunrise to moonrise, for the well-being of their husbands. Later, they break their fast only after offering their prayers to the moon.
Earlier, Sonam and Anand had opened up about their love story which eventually culminated into marriage while speaking to Vogue magazine.
Recalling her first date with him, Sonam revealed, "I was apparently wearing the worst sneakers he had ever seen. I keep telling him that he fell in love with me despite my bad sneaker game... That day, walking and talking in London, I knew he was the love of my life. He apparently knew the first time we spoke on the phone... It was just so easy."
On the other hand, Anand shared, "The first time we met, we talked about our respective work. I was just struck by the fact that I could speak to her so openly about everything. We were chatting on Snapchat one night and she said, 'Stop texting, just call me.' And we spoke for two hours that night... Our friendship started over superficial things like vegan chocolates and sneakers, but soon we were having deeper conversations."
Speaking about Anand's qualities which impressed her, Sonam shared, "He's non-judgemental - with everybody. Very open-minded and progressive. I'm a little conservative and close-minded about a few things, and he's taught me to see the other side, to look at things with a lot more compassion and care, to be a little more pragmatic and practical, as I can be very emotional and quick to judge sometimes, which is not nice."
On the work front, Sonam will be next seen in Anil Kapoor- Rajkummar Rao starrer 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' and 'Zoya Factor' opposite Dulquer Salmaan.
