'Are You Stupid?' Varun Dhawan Reacts To Alia Bhatt's Pay Hike
Recently, Varun Dhawan commented on pay disparity and said that he called Alia Bhatt 'stupid' for not hiking her fee.

Recently, in a tete-a-tete with Anupama Chopra, Varun Dhawan commented on pay disparity and said that he called Alia Bhatt 'stupid' for not hiking her fee.

Talking about Alia Bhatt's success, Varun Dhawan was quoted as saying, "Why has it taken the trade and the industry as a whole until a Raazi to realise that Alia Bhatt is a big star?"
He Further Added...
"Be it Badrinath Di Kulhania, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and even 2 States were all hits and Alia Bhatt was just as responsible for its success as I was or Arjun was."
Varun Also Insisted Alia To Hike Her Fee
Varun, who has worked with Alia Bhatt in three films which include Student Of The Year, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania said, "I would always tell Alia, what are you doing? You take very little money. Are you stupid? Increase your price."
Varun On The Work Front
On the work front, Varun Dhawan will be next seen in Sui Dhaaga opposite Anushka Sharma. The film salutes India's entrepreneurs and skilled workforce, including homegrown artisans, craftspeople and weavers. Varun plays a tailor named Mauji and Anushka essays the role of his wife and embroiderer Mamta.
