In 2017, the actress stirred a major controversy when she called Karan Johar a 'flagbearer of nepotism' on his show 'Koffee With Karan' when she had gone there to promote her film 'Rangoon'.
Post that episode, the actress and the filmmaker had a major fall-out and took a dig at each other at many events. However, recently, Kangana Ranaut made a statement about him which left many surprised.

While speaking to Pinkvilla, Kangana said, "There are people who live on their face value. Like Karan Johar, I really like him, he is in your face whatever he is."
