For
those
who
ain't
aware,
the
Battle
Of
Saragarhi
was
fought
before
the
Tirah
Campaign
on
September
12,
1897,
between
Sikh
soldiers
of
the
British
Indian
Army
and
Pashtun
Orakzai
tribesmen.
The
British
Indian
contingent
comprised
21
Sikh
soldiers

the
36th
Sikhs
(now

fourth
battalion
of
the
Sikh
Regiment),

in
what
is
considered
by
some
military
historians
as
one
of
history's
greatest
last-stands.

I
have
a
much
smaller
role
to
play,
but
I
enjoyed
it
thoroughly
and
I
hope
that
I
have
done
justice
to
it.
I
play
Akshay
sir's
love
interest
and
when
I
heard
the
story,
I
just
wanted
to
do
it."
