Rakul Preet Singh says that she doesn't have a godfather in Bollywood to offer her roles and stated that she struggles and make things happen for her.
Rakul Preet Singh is a big name in the South film industry but has not found the same success in Bollywood but her enthusiasm to succeed and make a mark for herself is what keeps her spirit going. From debuting in B-town in Yaariyan in 2014 and starring in Aiyaary in 2018, her Hindi movie stint is small and she's hoping all of that will change after the release of De De Pyaar De on May 17, 2019.

''I don't have a godfather offering work to me, so there has always been a struggle. But the fact that you do not get it easy makes you respect your work more. I want to have great films to my credit, irrespective of which language they are in," said Rakul Preet Singh to Mumbai Mirror.
Yaariyan Also Helped Me Get Good South Offers
"I had signed my first Telugu film before Yaariyan (2014) happened. When that turned out to be a hit, I got many big projects down South. I thought I will do Hindi films whenever something good comes my way.''

Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh starrer De De Pyaar De will release on May 17, 2019. The movie is directed by Akiv Ali and co-produced by Bhushan Kumar.
