Later, Vicky took to his Instagram story to post a picture where he is seen happily posing with Rishi Kapoor and his wife Neetu Kapoor. The actor captioned it as, "Nothing can beat his josh! More power to you, sir. Thank you, for the wonderful time Rishi sir and Neetu ma'am."

Before this, Deepika Padukone had also paid a visit to the Kapoors in New York. Later, Neetu had shared a series of pictures on her Instagram page and written, ""Such a fun evening with adorable Deepika, gave lot of love and warmth. To this, Deepika had replied, "Thank you both for such a fun, memorable evening! To good health, happiness, peace of mind and many, many more laughs."

Meanwhile, Rishi had recently told a leading daily that he is now cancer-free. He was quoted as saying, "Neetu has stood by me like a rock. Otherwise I am too difficult a person to handle as far as food and drink are concerned. My kids Ranbir and Ridhima have really shouldered my problems."

He had further added, "My eighth month of treatment started on May 1 in the US. But God has been kind! I am in remission, meaning now I am cancer-free. I will have to do a bone marrow transplant, which in all probability should take another two months minimum. Being in remission is a big thing and it's all because of my family and my fans prayers and duas that have worked. I thank them all."

"A person like me who has never had patience, this is God's way to teach me patience. Getting well is a slow procedure. But it makes you grateful for the gift of life," Rishi was quoted as saying.
