Bachchhan Paandey's Poor Box Office Collection: Not Akshay Kumar, But Salman Khan Should Be More Worried

Unfortunately, Akshay Kumar-starrer Bachchhan Paandey failed to impress critics and its average box office collection has become the talk of the town. Poor direction and script are not the only reasons behind Bachchhan Paandey's poor box office collection. The Tsunami that The Kashmir Files has brought to the theatres in India, is also an important reason behind Bachchhan Paandey's unsatisfactory box office report. Now the question arises, if Akshay is the only one who should worry about it? Well, the answer is no!

According to trade analysts, more than Akshay, Salman Khan and Farhad Samji should be worried, as the duo will soon collaborate for Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, which has been reportedly renamed as Bhaijaan. Apart from Salman, the film also stars Pooja Hegde in the lead role.

A trade analyst tweeted, "Failure of #BachchhanPaandey won't affect #AkshayKumar. He's ready with 4-5 more films. Also shooting for 3-4 different films. But it'll surely put some pressure on director #FarhadSamji who's directing megastar #SalmanKhan in #KabhiEidKabhiDiwali."

Another trade analyst wrote, "Failure of #BachchhanPaandey wont affect #AkshayKumar coz after two months #Prithviraj is there which is destined to be his career's biggest blockbuster.Ram Setu if clicked well can be record grosser, he just needs to dump small films on OTT and should release only 2 films yearly."

We wonder if Salman is worried about his next film, which will be helmed by none other than Samji.

Having said that, Salman doesn't pay much attention to film critics, but if his fans reject his films, he will be more than concerned.
