69th National Film Awards: Alia Bhatt, Kangana & RRR In Race? Here’s When & Where To Watch The Ceremony

After creating immense buzz in the town, the prestigious 69th National Film Awards will be announced today. Several big names have been doing the rounds to be competing in the race for the coveted awards. There are reports about Kangana Ranaut starrer Thalaivi, Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi, R Madhavan starrer Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, SS Rajamouli's Oscar winning RRR, starring Ram Charan, JR NTR etc will be competing today.
As everyone is waiting eagerly for the winners list of the 69th National Film Awards, there are speculations about when and were to watch the special event. Well, the 69th National Film Awards will be announced during a press conference in Delhi on August 24. The prestigious event will begin at around 5 PM and will be live streamed on PIB India's Facebook page and YouTube channel.
According to media reports, 4 actresses are in the race for Best Actress Award - Alia Bhatt for Gangubai Kathiawadi, Kangana Ranaut for Thalaivi, Lijo Mol for Jai Bhim and Revathy for Bhootkalam. While it will be a tough competition if Kangana Ranaut ends up winning the award, it will mark her fourth National Award. She had earlier won a national award in the best actress category for Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Panga (2019), Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2016) and Queen (2015).
On the other hand, the media reports also suggest that Biju Menon, Joju George and R Madhavan will be in a race for the best actor award at the 69th National Film Awards for their performances in Aarkkariyam, Nayattu and Rocketry: The Nambi Effect respectively.
