Ira Khan-Nupur Shikhare Pre-Wedding Festivities: Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta's daughter, Ira Khan, is all set to get married to her longtime beau, Nupur Shikhare, on January 3, 2024.

The couple got engaged last year in an intimate ceremony, and now, just a few days ahead of their big day, the pre-wedding festivities have already begun.

Ira and her close friend actress Mithila Palkar gave a sneak peek into the celebrations on Instagram Stories, where family members and friends of the beautiful couple were seen relishing in some Maharashtrian delicacies.

Aamir is known for sharing a warm and affectionate relationship with his ex-wives. The actor's second wife, Kiran Rao, and their son, Azad Rao Khan, were also present at the celebrations, enjoying the meal.

Taking to her IG handle last night, Ira shared a video that showed the guests seated around the dining table and enjoying Maharashtrian cuisine. Kiran wore an off-white kurta, while Azad was sitting next to her.

In the video, Ira can be heard saying, "My God guys, get married to a Maharashtrian and get a Kelvan. How fun is this?"

While in another Insta story, Ira posed with her fiance Nupur, along with Mithila and two other family members. For the celebrations, Ira opted for a beautiful red saree with a golden sequined blouse. She had a red bindi on her forehead, golden jhumkas, and left her hair open.

Whereas the soon-to-be groom, Nupur, wore a long red kurta along with a black pyjama and a matching turban. Little Things actress Mithila Palkar also posted a photo with the couple and wrote, "The wedding festivities have begin!"

In another pic, Mithila is seen standing in between Ira and Nupur and captioning it, "Let's get you guys married!" She donned a mustard yellow ethnic suit.

Aamir talks about his daughter's wedding

Earlier, while speaking about his daughter Ira's wedding, actor Aamir Khan stated that he was going to be very emotional on that day.

The Fanaa actor said, "Main toh bada emotional hota hoon bhai, uss din main bahut rone waala hoon yeh toh tay hai. Discussions have already begun in the family that 'Aamir ko sambaalna uss din (take care of Aamir that day)' because I am very emotional. I can't control my smile nor my tears."
