And this is exactly what actor Aamir Khan is getting hailed for. The star, who is currently on a break from work, recently appeared in an advertisement for Dream 11.

In the ad, Aamir is seen beside Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah making fun of Khan's last movie, Laal Singh Chaddha, which was a box office failure. Laal Singh Chaddha, was a 2022 remake of the 1994 Hollywood classic Forrest Gump, starring Tom Hanks. The film did not perform well at the box office, and interestingly, Jasprit is seen in the advertisement mocking the film's low box office collection.

Although Aamir has announced a break from movies, he has been seen appearing at events and now in an ad. In the ad, we see Khan on the cricket ground with Bumrah and telling him, "Boom Boom, ball dhyan se daaliyo, bade bade hit maarta hoon." While Jasprit immediately taunts him, saying, "Itne hits maarte ho sir, toh Laal Singh ka kya hua." Then, Aamir is seen frowning at the cricketer and saying, "Tu field pe mil".

The video went viral, and netizens praised Aamir Khan for being a sport. One said, "Aamir Khan made more money with the Laal Singh joke in Dream11 ad than Laal Singh the movie." Meanwhile, directed by Advait Chandan, Laal Singh Chaddha starred Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya in key roles. The movie received mixed reactions from the critics and was declared a flop at the box office. LSC collected 129.64 crore gross globally.
