Abhishek Pathak-Shivaleeka Oberoi Wedding: Drishyam 2 Director Gets Married, Dreamy Pics Inside

Director Abhishek Pathak and actress Shivaleeka Oberoi got married on February 9, Thursday. The big fat wedding destination wedding took place in Goa. The couple looked breath-taking in Manish Malhotra couture with a few special customisations. Shivaleeka and Abhishek shared their wedding news on social media along with pictures.

A source close to the couple said, "It's going to be a grand affair and the Pathak family has been involved in the industry for many years, so there will be a huge guest list."

Sharing the dreamy pictures on social media, the actress wrote,

Last evening 9th Feb 2023, surrounded by our loved ones, we got married in a place where our relationship bloomed.

While not too many details were revealed about the wedding, it is being said that the wedding was traditional with a modern touch to it.

The hush-hush wedding was attended by the couple's close friends, family members and colleagues from the film fraternity. Bollywood celebs including Kartik Aaryan, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Ajay Devgn along with Aaman Devgan, Sunny Singh, Bhushan Kumar, Vidyut Jammwal, director Luv Ranjan, Ishita Raj Sharma, among others are said to have attended the wedding.

The pre-wedding festivities were held on February 8 followed by pheras on February 9 and then the couple hosted an after-party.The couple reportedly got engaged in July 2022, while they were on a trip to Cappadocia, Turkey.

Meanwhile, on the work front, director Abhishek Pathak's Drishyam 2 was a huge success. The film that was a sequel to Nishikant Kamat's 2015 film, Drishyam featured Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Tabu, Akshaye Khanna and Ishita Dutta.

Shivaleeka Oberoi, on the other hand made her Bollywood debut with Yeh Saali Aashiqui opposite Vardhan Puri. The actress also starred in the two installments of Khuda Haafiz. Abhishek Pathak had produced the film, they reportedly met on the sets of the film and that's when the cupid struck!
