Adipurush: Video Of Om Raut Kissing Goodbye To Kriti Sanon In Tirumala Tirupathi Temple Goes Viral

The upcoming pan Indian movie, Adipurush has been causing a massive buzz on social media right before the film's release. The cast and crew of the mythological drama including Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh, Om Raut released the final trailer of the film on Tuesday. On Wednesday, director Om Raut visited lord Venkateshwara temple in Tirumala Tirupathi along with the leading lady Kriti Sanon.

A controversy has now erupted after the filmmaker was seen planting a peck on Kriti's cheek to say goodbye outside the temple premises. This led to a social media uproar and BJP State Secretary Ramesh Naidu commenting against the act. He posted his view on Twitter and later deleted it for unknown reasons. Following his tweet, the video has been making the rounds on social media even after he deleted the Tweet.

Speaking of the temple visit, director Om Raut wrote on Twitter, "After coming to the temple, I feel extremely amazing. It felt nice. We had a great darshan today morning. Yesterday, we put out the trailer. It's a mesmerising feeling and I cannot put it into words."

For the unversed, the film is gearing up for release on June 16 amidst huge expectations. It will be based on the great Indian epic, Ramayana. While Prabhas will be seen playing as lord Ram, Kriti Sanon will be seen playing the role of Goddess Seetha. Saif Ali Khan will play the main antagonist, Ravan. The film has been making the headlines for several reasons ever since it was announced.

Initially, when the teaser was released, fans expressed their disappointment in the CG work. But later, after the trailer was released, fans have been lauding it, and expressing how eager they are to watch the magnum opus. It also made the headlines when the filmmakers announced that a seat will be allocated for lord Hanuman across all theatres when the film hit the marquee.
