actor-director
said,
"I
had
all
the
opportunities
to
study
and
just
never
took
them.
Over
the
years
I
realised
my
error.
But
that
was
not
enough,
it
was
only
when
I
felt
the
emptiness
within
me
that
I
realised
the
importance
of
a
value
education.

me
to
my
subject:
Philosophy."

credits
his
daughter
for
pushing
him
to
resume
his
studies
Aditya
revealed
that
his
daughter
Tulsi
encouraged
him
to
again
pursue
his
studies
at
the
age
of
61.
He
stated,
"She
dragged
me
to
the
Xerox
shop
where
I
made
a
copy
of
my
documents
and
started
filling
up
forms."

entered
the
portals
of
IGNOU.
The
teaching
methodology
suited
me
completely.
I
signed
up
for
life.
All
study
is
at
home
with
the
books
sent
by
them.
Exams
are
at
a
nearby
college.
I
enjoyed
myself," he
shared.
"Two
weeks
ago,
I
passed
with
59.67%
marks.
An
extremely
respectable
IInd
class,
with
a
Hons
in
Philosophy.
IGNOU
has
been
very
supportive,
they
have
a
Regional
Director
at
Goa,
who
is
very
prompt
and
helpful,"
he
added.

was
ecstatic.

career
Aditya
began
his
film
career
in
the
1970s
as
an
assistant
director
to
Raj
Kapoor
in
films

Bobby.
He
worked
as
an
assistant
director
in
films
such
as
Satyam
Shivam
Sundaram
(1978),
Geraftaar
(1985),
Saajan
(1991),
and
others.
He
made
his
comeback
as
a
writer-director
in
2007
with
the
films
Don't
Stop
Dreaming
and
Sambar
Salsa.
In
2010,
he
made
his
acting
debut
with
Chase
and
later
acted
in

Deewana
