Now, singer and composer Shivani Kashyap is joining the bandwagon of celebs who have shared their ordeal. The 44-year-old singer shared how she was cornered in Bollywood. She even said that there are 'camps' in Bollywood and the 'music giants' control the industry. She even talked about how she had to find a way to thrive in the industry.

During a conversation with Hindustan Times, The Sajna Aa Bhi Jaa singer opened up and said that 'she doesn't believe in knocking on a door that won't open'. She even revealed that there are camps in the Hindi film industry, and they have their set singers and musicians.

She was quoted as saying, "There are camps, and they have their set singers and musicians. Wahan par kisi aur ki entry nahin hai. So, I think, there is no point trying to tread that path. I need my music to be followed and loved by people, and that's happening anyway."

Shibani, who recently represented India in Uzbekistan during a diplomatic event further added that she had to learn the hard way that "music giants" control the industry and it's them who decide who can enter.

Answering if she ever felt being cornered, she added, "Always! My first song, Hogai Hai Mohabbat, was a big hit, and I thought nothing could stop me now. I expected a smooth sail thereon, but I was so wrong because I faced bigger hindrances and challenges. It felt like you must be part of some camp to advance."
