AR RAHMAN TALKS ABOUT A BOLLYWOOD GANG WORKING AGAINST HIM IN HIS OLD INTERVIEW

In an old interview with Radio Mirchi, AR Rahman talked about why he has stopped doing Bollywood films. The renowned music composer said that there was a gang in the cinema industry who were spreading false rumors against him and preventing people from giving him work.

He was quoted as saying, "I don't say no to good movies, but I think there is a gang, which, due to misunderstandings, is spreading some false rumors. When Mukesh Chhabra came to me, I gave him four songs in two days. He told me, 'Sir, how many people said don't go, don't go to AR Rahman and they told me story after story.' I heard that, and I realized, yeah okay, now I understand why I am doing less and why the good movies are not coming to me. I am doing dark movies, because there is a whole gang working against me, without them knowing that they are doing harm."
