Animal Screening Update: Ranbir Kapoor is the current talk of the town as his most-anticipated movie Animal was released today, December 1, in theaters.
Directed by Kabir Singh fame Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the hyper-violent movie has opened to massive response from the audience and is said to be Kapoor's career's biggest ever opener.
The massy action entertainer has not only created a stir at the box office but also on social media. Amid the humongous fanfare, a video of fans bursting firecrackers inside a theatre has gone viral.
Animal screening firecracker incident
A group of people who went to watch the Ranbir and Rashmika-starrer action-crime movie Animal were seen bursting firecrackers inside a cinema hall in Delhi. The viral video shared on X by an account named Sentinel shared two videos that showed burst firecrackers while the film played in the background.
The page captioned the post, "Ranbir Kapoor Delhi Fans," along with two videos one showing a few boys dressed in black suits and standing in front of the ticket booking counter.

This comes a few days after a similar incident that took place a few days ago during the screening of the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3. A video went viral after fans fired a rocket inside Mohan Cinema in Malegaon, Maharashtra, upon the entry scene of Khan on screen.
The fireworks went on for over a minute, posing a threat to the lives of the audience present inside the cinemall hall. The video showed the audience panicking and running to a safe space to escape the fire.
After an FIR was registered, Salman Khan took to his X handle, commented on the incident, and urged his fans to put their and others lives at risk.
Ranbir Kapoor is being hailed for his stellar performance, and the film is deemed to have a thunderous opening as it is estimated it could earn Rs 100 crore worldwide gross on day 1, with Rs 55 crore plus coming from the domestic market, stated trade analyst Ramesh Bala.
