Akanksha Dubey Death: Late Actress’s Boyfriend & Bhojpuri Singer Samar Singh Sent To Judicial Custody

Akanksha Dubey Suicide Case: The death of the Bhojpuri actress has created an uproar. Akanksha allegedly committed suicide inside a hotel room in Varanasi on March 26. She was in the city to shoot her upcoming film Laik Hoon Main Nalaik Nahin. Akanksha was found hanging in the room.

While prima facia police called it a case of suicide, her post-mortem report revealed injury marks and the presence of brown liquid in her stomach. Akanksha's mother, Madhu Dubey has also put allegations against her boyfriend and Bhojpuri singer, Samar Singh, and his brother Sanjay Singh for allegedly threatening her daughter.

Police registered an FIR against Samar Singh and his brother. The Bhojpuri singer was arrested yesterday on April 7 from Ghaziabad. He was absconding. In the latest development in the case, Samar Singh has been sent to 14 days of judicial custody.

BHOJPURI SINGER SAMAR SINGH SENT TO JUDICIAL CUSTODY

After the death of the Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey, police were on the lookout for Samar Singh. He was finally arrested from Ghaziabad. The Bhojpuri singer was produced before a court in Varanasi today (April 8). Following this, he was sent to judicial custody for 14 days. Advocate Shashank Shekhar Tripathi informed that the Bhojpuri singer had presented a bail application which was opposed by those in support of the late actress.

AKANKSHA'S MOTHER DEMANDS JUSTICE

Post Samar Singh's arrest, Akanksha Dubey's mother, Madhu Dubey during an interview with Aaj Tak TV said that "Samar Singh used to torture my daughter. He claimed he was his friend. So, if he was his friend, why did he run away? He stole my little girl." She further added, "My request to the police is that he should get the same treatment as he did by killing my daughter. He should be hanged."
