Akanksha Dubey Suicide Case: Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey was found hanging in a hotel room in Varanasi. The 25-year-old untimely demise created a stir in the Bhojpuri cinema industry. One of the most prominent faces of the Bhojpuri cinema, Akanksha was in Banaras shooting for her upcoming project. Prima facia, it is said that the actress committed suicide, but the police are also probing other angles.

Now, in the latest development, Madhu Dubey, mother of deceased Akanksha Dubey has held Bhojpuri singer Samar Singh and his brother, Sanjay Singh responsible for her daughter's death. She has accused the singer and his brother of threatening Akanksha Dubey.

Madhu alleged that Samar Singh and Sanjay Singh did not pay Akanksha for the work she did over the last three years. The amount for the work was in crores. She further revealed that Samar Singh's brother Sanjay Singh had threatened to kill Akanksha on March 21. Akanksha had revealed her mother about this over the phone.

FIR LODGED AGAINST SAMAR SINGH AND HIS BROTHER SANJAY SINGH

Police have lodged an FIR against the Bhojpuri singer Samar Singh and his brother Sanjay Singh based on the information shared by Akanksha's mother, Madhu Dubey. Sarnath police station SHO Dharmpal Singh said that case was registered on charges of abetment to suicide and other relevant sections. The Assistant Commissioner of Police of Sarnath, Gyan Prakash Rai revealed that police did not recover any suicide note from the Sarnath hotel room and that it appeared to be a case of suicide.

Earlier, a report suggested that Akanksha had attended a birthday celebration a day prior to her demise. Though there is no mention of whose birthday bash she was attending and also there is no information about the host. As per Akanksha's makeup artist Rekha Maurya, the Bhojpuri star attended a birthday party on March 24. The investigating team was even now probing the latest angle.
