Akanksha Dubey Death: The Bhojpuri industry is grief-stricken with the news of Akanksha Dubey passing away allegedly by committed suicide. The 25-year-old actress was found hanging in a hotel room in Varanasi on Sunday. She was in Benaras shooting for her upcoming film Nayak. Though primia facia police suggested it as a case of suicide, however, they are further investigating the tragic demise.

In the latest development in the case, police are probing the connection between her death and and a birthday party that she recently attended.

A report suggests that Akanksha, who was in Varanasi for the shoot of her upcoming project had attended a birthday celebration a day prior to her demise. Though there is no mention of whose birthday bash she was attending and also there is no information about the host. As per Akanksha's makeup artist Rekha Maurya, the Bhojpuri star attended a birthday party on March 24. The investigating team is now probing the latest angle.

POLICE INVESTIGATING AKANKSHA'S WHATSAPP CHATS

The makeup artist, Rekha further revealed to the police that the late actress looked perfectly fine as she attended the unknown birthday bash. Akanksha was to reportedly return to the sets the next day, however, she decided to end her life. Talking about the case, ACP Gyan Prakash Rai said that the actress's cell phone was seized for investigation. And to gather more details on her sudden demise, the police are probing the Veero Ke Veer actress's WhatsApp text messages and interactions.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Akanksha who made her debut at the age of 17 with Meri Jun Mera Faisla was a part of several Bhojpuri films including Mujhse Shadi Karogi (Bhojpuri), Veeron Ke Veer, Fighter King, Kasam Paida Karne Ki 2. She had recently wrapped up the shooting of Chandan Upadhyay's Mitti co-starring Yash Kumar and Raksha Gupta. Her new song with Pawan Singh titled 'Ye Aara Kabhi Na Hara', was released on the day of her demise.
