Akanksha Dubey Death: Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey's death created a storm in the Bhojpuri film industry. The 25-year-old actress was found hanging inside her hotel room in Varanasi. Prima facia said it was a case of suicide, however, police are investigating the case. In the latest developments, police are on the lookout for a 'mystery' man who spent 17 minutes in her room on the day of her demise.

During the probe, it was to light to the investigating team that Akanksha had come to her hotel room along with a man on the night of her demise. The man allegedly even stayed in her hotel room for about 17 minutes.

A report in Aaj Tak states that a person had visited the actress in her hotel room on the night of her demise. The mystery man was in the room for about 17 minutes. It is also being reported that the police are currently avoiding answering questions related to him. The hotel where the actress was staying in the Sarnath area of Varanasi has refused to give any information on the same. The staff of Somendra Residency allegedly said that the CCTV footage of the night of the murder is with the police.

Meanwhile, the Sarnath Assistant Commissioner of Police, Gyan Prakash Rai has said that the postmortem report is still awaited.

Earlier, Akanksha Dubey's mother, Madhu Dubey had lodged a complaint and filed a case against Bhojpuri singer Samar Singh and his brother for threatening the actress and harassing her for the last three years.

For the uninitiated, Akanksha was said to be in a relationship with Samar Singh. On Valentine's Day, Akanksha shared a picture with him on her Instagram handle.
