Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots Co-star Akhil Mishra Dies In A SHOCKING Accident

It hasn't been long since the Bollywood industry as shocked by the unfortunate demise of Aamir Khan's Dil Chahta Hai co-star Rio Kapadia. And while the industry is still mourning the loss, it is reported that another actor has passed away. We are talking about Akhil Mishra, who is known for his role in Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots on September 19. He was 67.

For the uninitiated, Akhil played the role of librarian Dubey in the Rajkumar Hirani directorial and won a lot of appreciation. According to media reports, Mishra passed away following a shocking accident that took place at his residence. As per a report published in indianexpress.com, Akhil Mishra fell from a stool in the kitchen while he was doing something and reportedly fell off and injured his head severly.

A close friend of the late actor revealed that Akhil Mishra was found lying in a pool of blood following which he was rushed to the hospital wherein he passed away during the treatment. The friend also reportedly stated Mishra was unwell for a while and suffered from blood pressure related issues. The media reports also suggested that Akhil's wife Suzanne Bernert was in Hyderabad for a shoot when the incident happened.

While a post-mortem is being conducted, Suzanne is in a state of shock at the moment. She confirmed the news to the Times of India and said, "My heart is broken, my second half is gone".

Talking about the work front, Akhil Mishra is movies like Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Well Done Abba, Calcutta Mail and Shah Rukh Khan's Don. Apart from movies, Akhil has also been a part of several television show including Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se, Uttaran, Pardes Mein Mila Koi Apna and Shrimaan Shrimati, etc. He went on to marry Suzanne in February 2009 and they later had a traditional ceremony in September 2011.
