American Singer Jason Derulo Calls Disha Patani ‘SWEET Girl'; Here's What He Said About Their First Meet

In the meantime, famous American singer Jason Derulo, best-known for songs like Jalebi Baby and Swalala, too was mesmerised by Disha's aura and personality. Jason, who was recently in Mumbai, mingled and interacted with Disha Patani when they met for a friendly match of basket ball.

Disha shared a glimpse of their meeting on her social media handle, which left fans in a frenzy as they expected something to come up soon. The Baagi actress also showed her incredible basketball skills on the court as she shot a hoop with her back turned away from the camera and played blind.

In a recent interview, Jason shared his experience of meeting Patani for the first time and said, "We met at the gym through a friend. Disha is a really sweet girl. I think Indians are very kind-hearted." He also enjoyed playing basketball with the Bollywood actor.

Meanwhile, the singer who performed at the IPL event said that he wants to collaborate with more Indian artists. "Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to collaborate with any Indian musicians in Bengaluru. I'd like to do a proper tour in India. Different opportunities will come about and hopefully I can do a few dope collaborations with some new artistes. In fact, I jammed with King (singer-rapper) recently and it was fun. Let's see how the collaboration progresses," says the Saturday/Sunday hitmaker. The Get Ugly singer is currently working on his fifth studio album.

On the other hand, Disha Patani will be next seen in the Telugu pan-India movie Project K, helmed by Nag Ashwin. She also has Karan Johar's Yodha opposite Sidharth Malhotra and another with Tamil superstar Surya.
