But how about treating your partner with tempting chocolate cake? Yes! As Valentine's Day is around the corner, Josh creators Spoon N Plate have come with an easy to make chocolate cake recipe which will make your day even more special.

Ingredients

❖ 2 cup plain flour
❖ 2 tsp baking powder
❖ 1 tsp instant coffee powder
❖ 1⁄4 cup cocoa powder(unsweetened)
❖ 3⁄4 castor sugar (or alternate sugar powder can be used)
❖ 1⁄2 cup oil (odourless)
❖ 2 cup warm water
❖ 200 gm dark chocolate (melted)
❖ 100 gm fresh cream(at room temperature)
❖ 12 to 15 strawberries

Method
➢ Take a mixing bowl for dry ingredients
➢ Add 2cup Plain Flour (Maida), 2 tsp Baking Powder, 1 tsp Instant Coffee Powder, 1⁄4 cup Cocoa Powder & mix it.
➢ Take another mixing bowl for wet ingredients
➢ Add 3⁄4 cup castor Sugar, 1⁄2 cup Oil (odourless) & mix it well
➢ Now strain & add dry ingredients gradually into wet ingredients
➢ Whisk well to avoid getting lumps
➢ Take a microwave-safe plate/tray. Grease with oil & place parchment paper in it
➢ Bake for 5 min in microwave and rest the cake for 10 min
➢ Further melt 200 gm dark chocolate
➢ Mix 100 gm fresh cream with melted chocolate to make ganache
➢ Demould the cake into plate
➢ Pour ganache into a piping bag and spread it on the cake by making the design
➢ Decorate the cake with Strawberries
