Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial Animal has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. After all, it happens to be Vanga's second Hindi film and comes with a stellar cast of Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. As the trailer left everyone in awe, Animal witnessed stupendous advance booking response and has opened to a thunderous response from the audience.

With an opening day collection of Rs 63.8 crores, Animal has emerged as Ranbir and Bobby's highest opener ever. This isn't all. Animal has also managed to cross Rs 120 crores mark within just two days of release and continues to go strong at the box office. While everyone has been lauding Ranbir for his never seen before avatar, Bobby Deol has also managed to shine bright with his limited screen time. In fact, fans have been calling it to be one of Bobby's best performances.

Needless to say, Bobby Deol is overwhelmed with the love coming his way. In fact, during his recent interaction with the media, Bobby was seen getting emotional with the stupendous response from the audience. This happened when Bobby was recently spotted in the city.

While the paps were seen lauding Bobby's performance in Animal, he expressed his gratitude towards the audience. He stated, "Thank you guys, thank you so much. God has been really kind, itna pyaar mil raha hai is film ke liye. Aisa lagta hai main sapna dekh raha hu".

Interestingly, Animal is witnessing a box office clash with Vicky Kaushal's biographical war drama Sam Bahadur. Talking about the clash, Vicky told Indian Express, "When two opening batsmen come to the crease, playing for the same team, you won't say that the two batsmen are clashing with each other; they are playing for a single team, so we are playing for Hindi cinema". Meanwhile, Ranbir's Animal has managed to crush Sam Bahadur at the box office and this is evident with a huge gap in their collections.
