Animal First Review: Ranbir’s Action Drama Is About Twisted Revenge; Is ‘Gory’ & Has Sexual, Domestic Abuse

Animal First Review Ranbir Kapoor is all over the headlines these days and rightfully so. After all, his much anticipated action drama Animal is set to hit the theatres on December 1. Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the movie also features Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in the lead and it has managed to create substantial buzz in the town. In fact, the advance booking for Animal also received a phenomenal response from the audience.

And while everyone is waiting for Animal release, the first review is out now which has been shared British Board of Film Classification (BBFC). In the review, Animal is called an action drama which has a twisted revenge tale and features gory fight scenes and sexual and domestic abuse. As per the review, the violent element was given 5 ratings and are touted to be strong and blood-filled. Animal got 3 ratings for threat and horror including bullying scenes featuring kids and 4 ratings for use of strong language.

As per BBFC gave 3 ratings to Animal for moderate sex scenes, partial nudity and 4 ratings for sexual violence. Overall, Animal seems to have received a decent response and is set to take over the box office by a storm.

Animal Advance Booking Report

Meanwhile, talking about the advance booking report, Animal has managed to mint Rs 19.7 crores so far from advance booking is likely to cross the 33 crores mark today. Well, if the reports turned out to be true, Animal managed to beat the advance day booking collection of Salman Khan's Tiger 3 which is around Rs 22.97 crores.

Besides, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has also managed to beat Shah Rukh Khan's biggest releases of the year - Pathaan and Jawan - in terms of advance ticket sales for the Hindi version. Yes! You read it right. As per Sacnilk, around 557K advance tickets were sold for Jawan while it was 556K for Pathaan. However, with still a day left for Animal release, over 10 lakhs tickets have been sold for the Hindi version so far and the number is likely to increase during the day.
