Animal Pre-Release Event: Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for his next big release, Animal. The star cats of the movie are going out and out, prompting it. A grand promotional pre-release event was organised in Hyderabad on Monday night, which was attended by a crowd of fans.

The major attraction of the event was its chief guest, Mahesh Babu, who heaped praise on Animal's lead actor, Ranbir Kapoor. Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and producer Bhushan Kumar were also present at the event.

As Mahesh Babu took over the mic, he called Ranbir the 'best actor of India' and a video of the same is going viral on social media. Ranbir's priceless reaction is what you should look for.

Mahesh Babu calls Ranbir Kapoor 'India's best actor'

In several videos and pictures, Ranbir Kapoor and Mahesh Babu were seen smiling and chatting among themselves. Mahesh was dressed casually, while Ranbir opted for a mustard-coloured blazer for the event.

In one of the viral video, Mahesh can be heard praising Ranbir and said, "Told him this thing when I met him but I don't think he took me seriously. So today on this stage I am saying I am a huge Ranbir Kapoor fan. And in my opinion I think he is the best actor in India."

Ranbir was standing behind him with the entire Animal team and smiled and looked emotional as he heard Mahesh Babu's uplifting words.

In return, Ranbir said, "You were the first superstar Mahesh Babu I ever met. I remember messaging him after watching Okkadu and he replied, and I cant thank you enough for supporting sir." He also chanted, "Jai Babu, Jai Babu."

Fans too reacted to the precious moments shared between Ranbir and Mahesh Babu. One wrote, "The words coming from Mahesh Babu to Ranbir is the greatest honour any Bollywood star never got. So so proud."
