Animal Censor Cuts: Ranbir Kapoor's upcoming action crime movie Animal has been widely discussed due to its intense violence and action sequences. Directed by Sandeep Vanga Reddy of Arjun Reddy/Kabir Singh fame, it has received an 'A' certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

The film is set to release on December 1, and it has also been revealed that its runtime is more than 3 hours. The movie also features Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol in key roles.

And now, in an exclusive report, details about the several modifications have been revealed. Interestingly, even inoffensive terms like "costume" have been replaced with "vastra."

Ranbir-Rashmika's intimate scenes in Animal

A report by Zoom suggests that several intimate close-up scenes featuring Ranbir and Rashmika have been deleted from the film. It has also been mentioned that filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga has expressed surprise at the modifications that have been mandated by the Censor Board.

Further, the makers have also been asked to modify cuss words not only on screen but also in subtitles. Close-up, intimate scenes involving Bobby Deol have also been deleted. The British censor board has also given A certificate to Animal calling the film super violent, consisting of fighting, murder, domestic violence, and more gore scenes.

Earlier, Vanga revealed that Animal has been granted an 'A' certificate by the CBFC along with its runtime. Sandeep's tweet read, "Censor rating for ANIMAL is A :-) 3 hour 21 minutes 23 seconds & 16 frames is the Runtime :-) #AnimalTheFilm Releasing on Dec 1st @VangaPictures @TSeries (sic)."

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal explores the father-son relationship between Ranbir and Anil's characters, while Rashmika plays Ranbir's wife and Bobby is the antagonist.

The film will clash with Vicky Kaushal's Sam Bahadur on December 1.
