Anupam Kher Reviews Jawan: Shah Rukh Khan's maiden collaboration with Atlee, Jawan, is doing thunderous business at the box office. Shah Rukh is just more than a star in India, and fans celebrated the film's release by dancing and cutting cakes.
Bollywood celebs too were seen in the same joyful mood. Ananya Panday, Rajkummar Rao, Kiara Advani, Malika Arora, Arjun Kapoor, and others who watched the film gave a roaring shoutout to Jawan.
And now, veteran actor Anupam Kher, who has worked with Shah Rukh in many films, has joined the bandwagon of stars and congratulated him on the film's success.

On Monday, September 10, Anupam Kher took to his social media pages and penned a heartfelt note for Shah Rukh Khan after watching his movie in Amritsar. Sharing a throwback picture with SRK, he expressed his thoughts on the film.
Kher congratulated the entire team of Jawan for executing an outstanding movie and, in a playful manner, promised to hug the superstar when he returned to Mumbai. Further, he also recited a line from their 1995 film, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
His appreciation note reads, "Mere pyaare Shah Rukh! Abhi abhi Amritsar me audience ke sath aapki film jawan dekh kar nikla hun. Lutf aa gaya. Action, picture ka scale, aapki ada aur performance bahut hi umda hai. Ek-do jagah toh maine seeti wagera bhi maar di. Loved everyone in the film! Congratulations to the entire team and specially to the writer/director @Atlee_dir! Mumbai wapas aakar gale lagake zarur bolunga - o pochi, o koki, o popi, o lola!! (red heart and laughing emojis) @iamsrk."
For the uninitiated, the line "O Pochi, O Koka, O Bobi, O Lola" was Anupam Kher's dialogue from the romantic film DDLJ, where he portrayed Shah Rukh's father. The iconic dialogue was used by him during one scene where he praises SRK's character after he had managed to fail college in London.
