He Dodged My Calls: Badshah Shares SHOCKING Details About His Spat With Honey Singh; Labels Him ‘Self-Centered

Badshah Honey Singh: Badshah and Yo Yo Honey Singh are well-known rappers in the Indian music industry. Before making it big in Bollywood, both were part of a band called Mafia Mundeer, which had three other members: Raftaar, Ikka, and Lil' Golu.

The band last performed in 2012 and had some superhit songs such as Gabru, Khol Botal, Begani Naar Buri, Haye Mera Dil, Glassi, Get Up Jawani, Siftaan, and others. And recently, Badshah revealed that conflict arose between him and Singh as the latter wanted to have his own solo career.

Recently, Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, aka Badshah, opened up in a podcast about his tiff with Honey Singh and called him a "self-centered" human.

Badshah shares shocking details about his spat with Honey Singh

In an interview with Raj Shamani, rapper Badshah broke his silence over his spat with the Love Dose singer. He shared: "Mafia Mundeer was a thought, and like-minded people got together. Primarily it was just me and Honey. In 2009, there was a break between me and Honey."

"I used to do a job and I was very scared. Honey was also off my radar and when I tried calling him, he dodged my calls. But till the time we were in Mafia Mundeer, we never met. If we had met, maybe things would have been different," he added.

Badshah labels Honey Singh as 'self-centered'

He claimed that Honey concentrated on his own solo career. "We made songs but they were not released. Honey was just concentrating on his career. I was associated with Mafia Mundeer since 2006, and by 2009, my parents were very worried about me. In 2011, my first song with Honey came out Get Up Jawani," he shared.

He went on to say, "We are also creating so many songs, please consider us as well. We have left everything behind and come here. You (Honey) should not be so self-centered. On the one hand, you call us brothers, but on the other, you fail to acknowledge our struggles. He made us sign blank papers; what about those contracts? It was a tough phase."

In the same interview, Badshah gave a glimpse of his upcoming song, and also issued an apology for the lyrics of Sanak, which faced objections online.
