Bechara Aamir Khan: Kangana Ranaut Trolls Mr. Perfectionist For Forgetting Her National Awards

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan recently attended the book launch of Shobha De's Insatiable. During the interaction Aamir was asked who he thinks will be perfect for the biopic on renowned author-writer Shobha De. To this, Aamir responded. 'I think Deepika would play well; Priyanka would do well.' He further mentioned the name of Alia and said that these are the names that are just on the top of his head.

He further asked Shobha, what she thinks. Aamir also mentioned that these were strong personalities who would do justice to the role. The author-writer then said that Aamir has forgotten one. Shobha took the name of Bollywood queen Kangana Ranaut. To which Aamir agreed and said, "Ya, she would do it well. She is a strong actor and called her versatile. He further mentioned that she does comedy well, she does drama well."

Now, this comment has not gone down well with the Queen actress, who called him Bechara. Through several tweets, Kangana reminded the actor that she was the only actress who won three National Awards while the names of the actresses Aamir took had none.

Kangana further thanked Shobha De for taking her name and said that she would love to play her. Checkout the tweets...

She further added that she forgot that she has for awards, not three.

Earlier also, Kangana Ranaut had slammed the actor for charging a whopping 200 crores for his films. It so happened after Aamir's film; Laal Singh Chadda failed to cast a magic on the big screen. Talking about it, Kangana had questioned why audiences should go and watch the films of actors just because they have the superstars' tags, despite their films not being worth watching.

The Thalaivi star even claimed that Aamir's film LSC didn't fail due to the boycott culture but because of his statements against India.

Kangana had said, " Coming to Aamir khan Ji, I am not specifically talking about the boycott culture but in general, when the nation was going through some tension, Turkey did something against us. But you (Aamir Khan) went there and gave them your consent and clicked pictures. You called our country intolerant in front of the world and tarnished our reputation".

Aamir Khan was last seen on the big screen in Laal Singh Chadda. The film, however, did poorly at the box-office. And post that Aamir announced a break from his acting career. However, the actor is said to be receiving several movies offers from some of the top filmmakers of all major Indian languages. As per some unconfirmed reports, Mr. Perfectionist was approached by KGF director Prashanth Neel for his upcoming two-hero project, which will feature Jr. NTR as one of the protagonists. It is being said that Aamir might join YRF's spy universe soon.

Kangana Ranaut, on the other hand, will play former PM Smt. Indira Gandhi in her upcoming biopic titled Emergency. The actress had dropped her first look and teaser from the upcoming project, which will hit the theaters in 2023.
