Police Arrests Bhojpuri Actress Suman Kumari For Forcing Aspiring Models into Prostitution

Bhojpuri Actress Arrest: The Mumbai police arrested a Bhojpuri actress for allegedly running a prostitution racket. The accused, Suman Kumari, forced aspiring models into prostitution. The police even rescued three models who were trapped.

The Crime Branch issued a statement and said, "Mumbai Police have arrested a Bhojpuri actress Suman Kumari (24) for allegedly forcing girls (models) into prostitution. Police also rescued three models. Further investigation is being done."

As per a report in MidDay, police lodged an FIR under sections of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA). Officials said that Suman would be placed under arrest. Police are now on hunt for a man, the alleged link between Suman and the clients.

The SS Branch officials said they carried out raids in a hotel after sending dummy customers who paid Kumari. Suman charged 50-80K for one girl and sent three girls to hotel Royal Palm Hotel located inside Aarey Colony.

The officer said, "During the raids, we have also rescued three girls who were forced into prostitution."

The accused Suman Yadav, also known as Suman Kumari Tetu Gopi, has worked in several films in the Bhojpuri industry. She has starred in movies including Laila Majnu, Jomestic Box, Baap Numbari, and Beta 10 Numbari and also Bhojpuri web series. She has featured as lead several Hindi and Punjabi albums.
