Bhuvan Bam Devraj Patel: Popular comedian and YouTuber Devraj Patel was reported to have died in a road accident in Chhattisgarh on Monday, June 27. He was 22. Devraj was en route to Raipur for a video shoot.

He was riding pillion when the accident happened and was hit by a truck, due to which he suffered severe injuries to his head and other body parts. According to the police, the accident occurred around 3.30 pm.

Soon, social media was flooded with condolences and tributes to their favourite comedian. Actor-YouTuber Bhuvan Bam too has reacted to Devraj's untimely demise.

Meanwhile, apart from his funny videos, Devraj has also acted in a web series named Dhindora alongside actor-YouTuber Bhuvan Bam. And now, reacting to the news of his death, Bhuvan took to social media to pay him a heartfelt tribute.

In his Instagram Stories, Bhuvan reshared an old photo of himself with Devraj and simply dropped a broken red heart.

For the uninitiated, Devraj played the role of a student in Bhuvan Bam's web series Dhindora, which was released in 2021. The show is available on YouTube for free and was created and written by Bhuvan Bam himself.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel too expressed his sadness over Devraj's sudden death. He shared an old video of the YouTuber and tweeted in Hindi: "Devraj Patel, who made his place among crores of people with 'Dil Se Bura Lagta Hai', who made us all laugh, left us today. The loss of amazing talent at this young age is very sad. May God give strength to his family and loved ones to bear this loss. Om Shanti."

Who was Devraj Patel?

Devraj Patel gained popularity with his viral 'Dil Se Bura Lagta Hai' dialogue, and his memes were widely spread on social media. He had over 56.8K followers on Instagram and was loved for his funny videos.

His untimely demise had left many of his fans and followers in shock. He originally belonged to Mahasamund district and used to live in a rented house in Raipur.

Meanwhile, just a few hours before the accident, Devraj had shared a reel on his Instagram page and captioned it, "Lekin may cute hu na dosto?" (But am I cute, my friends?).
