Marlene Ahuja was the mother of Tanya Ahuja, who is known by her stage name, Tanya Deol. For those unfamiliar with the Ahuja family background, Tanya Deol is the daughter of the late Devendra Ahuja, a multi-millionaire banker and the promoter of Centurion Bank.

Devendra Ahuja also served as the Managing Director of the 20th Century Finance Company during his illustrious career.
