Bobby Deol Mother Prakash Kaur Reaction To Animal: Bobby Deol is currently in the best phase of his life, as he has been receiving praise for his role in the recently released movie Animal.

Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the movie is headlined by Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, and Bobby plays the role of an antagonist in the film.

Not only his savage acting, but his physical transformation has also swooned audiences. He revealed how his mother, Prakash Kaur, reacted to his role and to his death scene in the film.

While speaking to Pinkvilla in an interview, the Apne actor revealed that his mom wasn't really happy with his barbaric role and said, "My mom was like, 'Aisi film mat kiya kar tu, mujhse nahi dekha jaata.'"

He added, "I told her, 'Look, I'm standing in front of you, I just played a part'. But she's very happy. The amount of phone calls she's getting, all her friends want to meet me. Something similar happened when Aashram released." For context, Bobby had played a con godman in Prakash Jha's web series.

Bobby on lesser screen time in Animal

Talking about his lesser screen-time in Animal, Bobby told PTI, "I wish I had more secens, but when I signed the film, I knew this is what I had. At that point in my life, I was grateful to God that I was given this chance to play this role by Sandeep. I knew I had only 15 days of work and wouldn't be there throughout the film. I was sure people would notice me, but I never realized that there will be so much love, appreciation and affection. It's like wow! It's amazing."

Bobby had earlier played negative roles in films like Love Hostel, Race 3, and Bichoo, but not as wild as his role of Abrar in Animal.
