Bhojpuri Actor Brijesh Tripathi Death: Renowned and senior Bhojpuri actor Brijesh Tripathi passed away early Monday, December 18, following a massive heart attack. Tripathi was a well-known face not only in Bhojpuri cinema but also for his distinct roles and acting style in Hindi films and shows.
He was 72. His family lives in Mumabi, and his last rites will take place today. In a career spanning over 46 years, Triptahi's cinematic journey was not bounded by one language, as he had made major contributions to films in many regional languages too.

According to India TV, veteran Bhojpuri actor Brijesh Tripathi had undergone treatment for dengue in the past two weeks in a hospital in Meerut. But after reaching Mumbai recently, he suffered a heart attack last night. He was quickly rushed to the hospital, where the doctor declared him dead.
Bhojpuri industry mourns Brijesh Tripathi's death
The news of Brijesh Tripathi's demise has left the film industry grief-stricken. Many took to social media and paid their heartfelt tribute to the late actor. Popular actor and singer Pawan Singh shared on his Instagram handle a pic of Brijesh Triptahi and revealed how he had been like a father figure to him.
Actress Rani Chatterjee and Akshara Singh too shared a pic of the actor on their IG Stories and remembered him.
According to India Today, actor and Gorakhpur MP Ravi Kishan, mourning the actor's death, said, "We had done about 100 films with Brijesh Tripathi ji, his departure is the departure of an era from the Bhojpuri film industry. May God adorn his virtuous soul with the highest honor from heaven."

In Bhojpuri cinema, he had closely worked with actors including Manoj Tiwari, Ravi Kishan, Dinesh Lal Yadav, Pawan Singh, and Khesari Lal Yadav.
Talking about Bollywood, Tripathi has shared screen space with Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Rajinikanth, Ravi Kishan, Dharmendra, and Vinod Khanna, among others.
