Sara Ali Khan, for her Canes debut, wore a heavy hand-embroidered multi-panel skirt featuring intricate shadow embroidery throughout. She paired the skirt with a matching blouse embellished with crystals, pearls, and resham work. She added two tulle dupattas; one was placed on her shoulder, and the other was styled as a long veil.
Her hair was tied in a bun, and she went for subtle makeup and teamed her outfit with statement earrings and blingy jewellery. Further talking about her look with Brut India, the Atrangi Re actress said it's like a dream for her to represent India there and shared her excitement, saying, "Nervous, I've always aspired to be here someday, and I can't believe I'm here."
Talking about her otufit, Sara added, "It's traditional and modern Indian handmade design by Abu and Sandeep (Khosla). I've always been proud of my Indianess. It embodies who I am, it's fresh, it's modern, and also has traditional roots."
