Chandrayaan-3: Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor, Adah Sharma & Other B’Wood Celebs Congratulate ISRO

Chandrayaan 3: The excitement is palpable as ISRO embarks on a historic journey with its Chandrayaan-3 mission. The third lunar expedition, launched on July 14th, has received great attention and support from both the scientific community and Bollywood.

The lunar landing that occurred today, August 23 at approximately 6:04 pm on the Moon's south pole has received numerous congratulatory messages and strong admiration.

As the historic moment of soft landing on the Moon took place, Bollywood's most iconic figures took to social media to express their pride and excitement.

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn wrote, "Proud, amazed, excited, honoured to be living this moment of history!! भारत माता की जय 🇮🇳 #Chandrayaan3 @isro."

Akshay Kumar took to Twitter and wrote, "A billion hearts saying THANK YOU @isro. You've made us so proud. Lucky to be watching India make history. India is on the moon, we are over the moon. #Chandrayaan3."

Amitabh Bachchan had expressed his excitement about the Luna mission during the recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati's season 15. The megastar said, "Kal shaam ko jab chand niklega na, toh uss chand ki mitti par humare desh ke kadmon ki chaap hogi. Kal humara Chandrayaan-3, apne Maama ke ghar, yaani ke Chanda maama ke ghar pahuchega. Kal humare bachpan ke kahaniyon ka chand, premika ke chehre ka chand, vrat aur tyoharon ka chaand apne desh ki pahuch mein hoga. (In the evening, tomorrow, when the moon rises, our country's footprints will be imprinted on the soil of the moon....Tomorrow the moon of the stories of our childhood stories... will be within reach to our country.")

Badshah had taken to Twitter to share good wishes ahead of its landing, and wrote, "Aa gayi ghadi hai dekho sabse badi, hai humse bas do kadam pe dekho jeet khadi. #Chandrayaan3Landing @isro."

Adah Sharma, too, took to her social media and shared good wishes and wrote, "Waiting with baited breath for the soft landing of #Chandrayaan3 in a few hours. Wishing the entire team of India's biggest space mission a successful landing... #chandrayaan3landing."

Upon the soft landing of Chandrayaan 3, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressed the nation and spoke about the historic achievement. He said, "History is created today. When our dear family members witness such history being made before their eyes, life becomes blessed. India is now on the moon. The entire India is celebrating this historic moment."
