jail
for

jail
for
drunk
driving.

driving

causing
injury
to
a
woman
by
colliding
his
car
with
an
autorickshaw
in
Khar
in
2018.
As
per
a
report
in
ETimes,
a
magistrate
court
found
the
actor
guilty
and
have
him
the
punishment
based
on
the
doctor's
testimony,
which
confirmed
the
presence
of
alcohol
odor
and
observed
signs
of
unsteady
walks,
dilated
pupils,
and
incoherent
speech.

those

unaware,
Dalip
Tahilramani
hails
from
Agra,
Uttar
Pradesh,
and
was
born
on
October
30,
1952.
He
belongs
to
a
Sindhi
Hindu
family
that
had
relocated
from
Sindh
during
the
Partition
of
India.
He
commenced
his
education
at
Sherwood
College
in
Nainital,
India.
Following
a
year
at
Aligarh
Muslim
University,
he
completed
his
studies
at
St.
Xavier's
College,
Mumbai.
Tahil
made
his
debut
on
the
stage
during
his
time
at
Sherwood
College
in
Nainital
when
he
was
just
10
years
old.
Tahil
moved
with
his
family
to
Mumbai
in
1968
and
joined
the
Theatre
Group
Bombay.
He
appeared
in
some
of
its
major
productions
and
was
noticed
by
ace
filmmaker
Shyam
Benegal
who
gave
him
a
part
in
his
film
Ankur
(1974),
followed
by
Ramesh
Sippy's
Shaan.
He
is
best
known
for
his
work
in
films
like
Baazigar
(1993),
Raja
(1995),
Hum
Hai
Rahi
Pyar
Ke
(1993),
and
Qayamat
Se
Qayamat
Tak
(1988)
among
others.
Dalip
Tahil
made
his
TV
debut
with
Buniyaad
in
1986
and
went
on
to
feature
in
shows
like
Miss
India
(2004)
and
Siya
Ke
Ram
(2015).
